Day 3: Elbow Falls

Welcome back to another day at Amicus! The weather this morning was still a little gloomy so we decided to have Camp Wide Game in the gym again! Today’s game is one of the best of all time. TEMPLE OF DOOOOOM!!! OAC had so much fun trying to make it from one side to the other without getting hit with a dodgeball. After Camp Wide we went over expectations for today’s field trip and got on the bus!

During the ride to Elbow Falls we had some really great conversations. Once we got there we headed off to the shore of the Elbow River to throw some rocks and spend some time by the water! Our coolest activity today was using a water filtration technique to use some fresh river water to make some cozy hot chocolate on this overcast day. Afterwards, we played a couple back pocket games like Camouflage before heading back to Foothills for Steps! Today was so much fun, we can’t wait for all of our friends to join us for canoeing tomorrow!
