Our Camp Wide Game was called force field where campers had to capture all the flags or defend within the boundaries and return them to home base!

Campers head towards today’s social skill! Empathy and friendships.

  • Campers began throwing a toilet paper with a compliment towards another camper, some said nice shoes, nice shirt! This created a web but this web was very easy to tear it down.

  • Campers then were tasked with throwing string around instead of toilet paper with a more deeper compliment about the individuals personality, this also created a web but it was harder to tear down. Asking deeper questions and thoughtful compliments made a better community connection in the web and makes better friendships!

  • Campers also played common ground where the camper in the middle ask everyone else in the circle if they had something in common and if they did they would have to find a new spot in the circle, this helped campers understand that everyone always has a common ground.

Empathy is an important part of friendships and understanding and empathizing with what its like to be in the other peoples shoes helps build stronger friendships instead of superficially asking questions!

Campers head towards lunch after clubs and start choice after refueling. Choices today were spy school, plant pot painting and lawn games.

Campers switch up into their second choice block of the day!

We end off the day with steps in the right direction where campers and counselors give out step stickers for an amazing thing that was done at camp today!
