What other people are thinking
Welcome back campers for the last day of camp!
After campers head towards social skill today’s social skill is what other people are thinking! It's almost impossible to predict what other people are thinking.
The best thing to do is ask them questions! Campers began with the game royalty where campers see how different people are treated due to their “royalty”. Campers identify and recognize no matter the status of the person if you want a friendship it has to come from asking them about themselves!
Campers also were given a scenario and asked what they would say to support the person and help understand more about their situation!
Campers transition towards clubs! Sports club played soccer, science club made marshmallow animals and art club made kites!
After lunch campers transition towards their last choice block of camp! Campers made slime posters, painting pots as well as minute games!
We end off our day with kangaroo court! Where campers have been putting in ballots for the counselors they think should be slimed for crimes against camp! Today is the day of reckoning!
Wow what an incredible 2 weeks this camp has been we wish you a great summer and hopefully see you here back next year!
