DC 4 Welcome to Camp Amicus

Welcome to Camp Amicus! We are so excited to have you here for the next 2 weeks! We begin everyday with announcements where we go through the plan for the day. Today we went through some rules of camp such as the three Rs. Respect others, the environment and yourself!

After announcements we head towards Camp Wide Game! Today’s Camp Wide Game was Cardio Pictionary where campers are tasked with tagging a counselor to get a word and they are to draw it out on the white board for their fellow campers to guess!

After Camp Wide Game Campers head towards the camp room for 2:6 Group time where campers come together and created a group contract for the things they want and didn’t want to see at camp! Campers also worked on making their braids to carry their bling and art they make this year!

Campers refuel after lunch and head towards their two choice blocks of the day! Campers had a choice between making dream catcher, water games and gaga ball!

After choice campers transition towards the gym for steps in the right direction!

We end off the day with steps in the right direction, Steps or step stickers are a chance for campers and counsellors to recognize amazing things that campers have done today. It could be trying out a new sport or being a good friend! Steps are given in the form of paw print stickers!
