After Campers transition towards Social Skill which was language interpretation.

  • Campers were given idioms and were tasked to draw out what the idiom meant. Language and interpretation can not only be verbal but it can have a non literal/figurative meaning.

  • Campers also played whats the meme matching the emoji with the prompt helping campers interpret situations with the correct emoji that suits it. This helps campers understand that everyone can interpret situations differently and does not mean it is incorrect!

  • Campers also were blind folded and tasked with using their language to throw a string missile at their opponents

  • Each situation is different and can be interpreted in many ways there is no right or wrong answer, it’s just about understanding the situation. Through language and interpretation we can grow and learn how to better navigate ourselves through conversations and situations.
