DC 2 Welcome to Camp Amicus

Here we are at the start of Camp Amicus. Woohoo! Campers get introduced to their counslers and 2;6 groups and are off to our Camp Wide Game. We are so excited to kick off this summer with you!

Our Camp Wide Game is Cardio Pictionary, just like Pictionary we are trying to create a word but this time to receive a word campers must tag their counselors and complete a task to get the word they want! Campers ran back and drew out what word they were given and their peers were tasked to guess it! A great way to start camp with teamwork and some running to get our blood pumping.

After Camp Wide Game Campers head to the camp room for 2:6 time. Today campers will be making their camp braids to hold their bling, badges and art they will make during camp! Campers also worked on a group contract on the things campers want to see at camp and what they do not want at camp!

After 2:6 time campers head towards lunch to refuel and reenergize for the upcoming choice block!

Campers transition to their second choice of the day! Gaga ball and Mission Impossible were the last choice’s of the day.

Campers have their last snack of the day and transition to the last block of the day steps! Steps in the right direction are paw print stickers that campers and counsellors give out to whoever they thought did an amazing job at camp. We end off all our days at camp with Steps in the right direction, we can’t wait too see you tomorrow.
