Today’s Camp Wide Game was Phobia, where counsellors make up a phobia and campers are supposed to guess their phobia based on the counsellors reaction and bring them back to the goal. For example one of the counsellors was afraid of the sun so campers did what was necessary to shield them from the bright rays of the sun.
After Camp Wide Game, campers head towards social skill! Our Social Skill today was Zones of regulation focus on the zone/mood they are in, Red zone is angry, annoyed. Blue zone is sad, tired. Yellow zone is anxious, excited. Green zone is happy, relaxed.
Campers began with relaxing and meditating to help get a sense of our emotions! After Campers played UNO just like the rules of UNO but instead after campers get a colour they are tasked with saying an emotion that is in that zone or a situation that could happen in that zone.
Zones of regulation helps campers recognize and identify their moods and help them have a better understanding.
After Campers transition towards clubs for the day! Sports club played Wall ball, Science club made Crystals and Art club did finger knitting.
