ON 2 - DAY 5: Zones of Regulation 2

It’s our final day at camp, we started things off with cabin clean up and a delicious breakfast of french toast, sausages, cream, syrup and apples!

We then headed off for a last 2:6 time to continue cleaning up, and discuss how our time at camp has gone.

Next up was our camp wide game of the day. Today’s game was TEMPLE OF DOOM, a favourite amongst campers. Things can get a little hectic in this game but it’s a great way to wrap up camp wide for this week.

After a quick transition it was time for social skills, we learned about “Zones of Regulation 2” today. This social skill aims to help our campers better understand, and communicate their personal feelings by using the different zones, (Blue, Green, Yellow and Red)“Name it to tame it”, and other strategies. We also got to make sensory sticks!

It was time for a quick lunch of chicken caesar salad. Before we began our end of camp award ceremony and slideshow! Every camper gets a personalized award that reflects their time at camp, activities they participated in, and how they grew over the week.
The slideshow, is a fun way for us all to look back on the memories we have made together.

Finally, we grabbed our gear and loaded ourselves onto the bus back to Calgary! This week has been so incredible, and we are all so glad you have joined us to see what we have been getting up to everyday.
