ON 3 - DAY 5: Conversations

Our final day of camp started with all of us packing up our cabins, and making sure we had all our stuff! We then headed off to breakfast which was pancakes, sausage, apple slices and whipped cream.

We had our final 2:6 time and it was time for one last camp wide game. Today we played forcefield a game where a group of attackers have to infiltrate the defenders base to capture flags and escape!

Social skill today was “Conversations”. We worked on our verbal communication, and how we have conversations with others. We played the game celebrity where the group must guess characters written down on pieces of paper with an increasing level of difficulty. Going from being able to describe the character to only being able to perform actions that represent who the character is. This game helps to show how when we take away our ability to verbally communicate, being able to share ideas, or explain how we are feeling or thinking.

Our final lunch of camp was grilled garlic chicken with pasta and salad.

It was then time for the camp awards ceremony! This is where we recognize each and every camper, for the amazing things they brought and did during camp. We then got to view our end of week slideshow, a great way to remember all the memories we have made together.

It was then time to move all our bags over to the bus, load up and head back to foothills. We have had such a fantastic week, and we are so happy you all joined us to follow all the adventures!
