ON 1 - DAY 4: Zones of Regulation 2

Our final day of camp started with cleaning out our cabins and then heading off for a morning meal of breakfast sandwiches and orange slices.

We enjoyed some 2:6 time and then got ready for our final camp wide game of the week. TEMPLE OF DOOM!

In temple of doom, campers must run a gauntlet of dodgeball throwers, bobbing and weaving to try and grab a treasured bean bag at the other end. They then must make the perilous journey back to their starting hoop to secure the treasure.

After some amazing rounds of temple of doom, it was time to head into social skills.

Today’s social skills was “zones of regulation 2”, this social skill aims to teach campers how we all react differently in various situations that pop up in our lives. It also teaches our campers how to recognize when they are in one of the 4 zones (Blue, Green, Yellow, Red) and use that information to communicate their feelings/mental state with others.

It was then our lunch hour which was build your own chicken wraps!

We finished our time at camp with our camp awards and end of week slideshow. Our camp awards are a time to recognize the incredibleness of every camper, the growth, fun and wonderful memories they have made with us during their week at camp.

We then get to watch our end of week slideshow, where our lovely media team compile all the images captured during the week and display them for everyone's enjoyment!

After finishing up these final activities it was time to grab our bags, and head home from camp. We have all had such a wonderful week, and hope you have enjoyed reading and seeing all the adventures!
