DC 1 Conversations
Welcome back for day 2 at Camp Amicus! We start off our day with announcements where counsellors got to sell their clubs and campers got to choose from sports club, art club and science club!

Camp Wide Game was phobias. A counsellor is tasked with having a phobia campers are tasked with trying to find the counsellors phobia. The phobias today could have been walking backwards the campers are then tasked to help reach the goal by walking backwards or making sure the counsellors get back safely without their phobia affecting them.

Todays Social Skill was conversations. Conversations are hard to begin and continue it is essential that we learn the basics of conversations to help us in our future. Campers got an object and placed it on their forehead so they couldn’t see it, each camper was tasked on trying to find out what they were by asking questions. Campers also passed around a ball while continuing conversation which help create emphasis on paying attention and listening will help create better conversations. A super important part in having a conversation is to be asking questions about the conversation we are having. How are we suppose to know if we don’t ask?

After Social Skill campers head towards their clubs they choose earlier today! Sports Club played Wall Ball, Science club made Rocket ship and Art club made Masks!

After clubs campers head towards lunch to refuel and get ready for their choices they made today! Today’s choices were Fort Dodgeball, Tie dye and Mafia. In Mafia campers were tasked with creating a story one was tasked with being the detective, the rest citizens and one was the vanisher the goal was trying to find out who the vanisher was!
Campers switch up their choices for their last block of the day! Can you believe day 2 is over we end off our day with steps in the right direction! It was a campers birthday today! They got to choose to pie a counsellor in the face at the end of the day!
