Afterwards, we corralled ourselves onto the Stampede Grounds (Gym) for our skill of the day, friendship. Friendships are very important here at the ranch and in everyday life as well! We listened to Rancher Monarch tell us all about the importance of friendships and what we can do to be good friends. We discussed how sometimes, making friends can be really difficult, but there are some fun ways that we can try to get to know each other. For instance, we can ask people about themselves and find common interests. We can also work together, take turns, and ask for help when we need it. A good question to ask your camper may be, what are some qualities of a good friend? Is a good friend someone you can trust? Is a good friend someone who listens to you? Is a good friend someone who tells you what to do? You may also ask your camper, in what ways can you be a good friend?
